The Scottish Government are doing what governing bodies (particularly political) do best: occupying their time with nonsensical farces and washing their hands of the more important issues. This week, the Scottish Government have unveiled ‘important’ plans in their fight to protect children and parents alike from poor hygiene through handwashing demonstrations in schools across the country.
Their justification for teaching children to wash their hands? For children to be able to pass these skills on to their parents. Now, isn’t that a novel idea worth its weight in a six-figure wage?
