Just over at CNN reading an article about Obama and the situation in Iraq.
It sounds like there is a big difference in opinion at the Obama camp. They need to make some tough decisions and it will be interesting to see what happens in the coming days.
The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, has said that the U.S. needs to send more troops in now. He says they will risk failure otherwise, making an unusual appearance last week in front of a global strategic think tank to present his case.
Obama has said he will meet with key officials in the coming days but it seems a bit like they are running around with no plan. Hopefully that will be addressed soon.
