Oh dear. The Conservative party continue to take *cough* frantically tear *cough* leaves out of Tony Blair’s bumper book of How to Connect with Modern Britain. Through being rather too preoccupied with targeting their television demographics (Chris Grayling has probably been politically and economically mauled enough in the few days since he drew comparison between inner cities and TV show “The Wire”, though the rest of us are still cringing), the Tories have become rather distracted with regulating their underlings.
Daniel Hannan has been further embarasssing the party with his professions of love for Enoch Powell. In a recent interview he named the controversial political figure as having shaped his views on politics. As this article and its comments detail, we’re fervently awaiting Hannan’s fate by the party with two faces.
Though, it could be worse for David Cameron. He could look like Gordon Brown.
