West Ham defender Matthew Upson has warned his fellow hammers to be on their guard against a Stoke team he believes will be highly motivated.
The two sides clash in the FA cup quarter finals this weekend, having only played each other last weekend, and Upson belives Stoke will want to put right the Hammers 3-0 victory over the Midlands club.
Stoke are also unbeaten a the Britannia Stadium this year, and will not want to lose their record, or their place in the FA cup.
Upson was fully aware that revenge would be on Stokes mind, and that they wouldn’t need any extra incentive to be up for the game.
“It’s going to be a very different game,” he said.
“They’re going to be really pumped up and come at us.
“It’s up to us to deal with that and, again, be brave on the ball and pass the ball and move the ball – I’m really looking forward to it.”
