Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is the latest person to slam UEFA for the ridiculous Champions League final prices.
The final, at Wembley on 28th May, will be the most expensive football final in UEFA history.
UEFA announced that the cheapest tickets they were selling for the final were £150, plus a £26 admin fee, and the cheapest tickets available to clubs would be £80, plus the fee. An England ticket in the same seats would cost as little as £20.
Alex Ferguson hopes Manchester United will get to the final, but feels for the fans of the clubs who have to pay the whopping prices.
“It’s unbelievable and disappointing,” he said. “It’s a killer and a corporate deal, that.
“Managers and players can’t do anything about it.
“I don’t know what you can do. You have a booking fee also of £26 or whatever it is, so dearie me.”
