Harry Redknapp has delivered the news that will leave AC Milans defenders with some sleepless nights ahead of the Champions League last 16 2nd leg at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Bale, who has twice already obliterated the Inter Milan defence this season is back from injury and will start against the Italian league leaders.
Bale has been out for six weeks with a back problem but came off the bench and played 21 minutes in his team’s 3-3 draw with Wolves yesterday, with little apparent problem.
Bale had to sit out the first leg in Milan, but will be raring to go, as Tottenham look to push on from their 1-0 win the San Siro and secure a quarter final place.
When Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was asked if his Welsh winger had the legs to start against AC, he replied, “He looked alright didn’t he?
“He kept running 70 yards with the ball and he looked like he was okay to me.
“I don’t think there’s any problem with Gareth. He’s fine. It will do him the world of good to come on and play like that.
“I stuck him out on this side and Aaron (Lennon) came on the other side and did well. They were a threat.”
