Real Madrid deny Fabregas bid talk

Spanish giants Real Madrid have denied that they have made a bid for Cesc Febregas.

The 9 time European champions have been quick to deny the reports that they were interested in Arsenals captain, after several newspapers in Spain and England reported that they were ready with a 65million Euro bid.

The Arsenal star is no stranger to interest from La Liga, after Barcelona spent the summer courting the Spanish star, only to bid a measly £30million and then admit they could not afford him.

Real Madrid general manager Jorge Valdano confirmed they had made neither a bid, not an approach for the 23-year-old star.

“We never made an offer for him (Fabregas) and we haven’t spoken with Arsenal either,” Valdano said.

“We have a good relationship with Arsenal and we don’t want any misunderstanding.”

Jose Mourinho’s men won 1-0 last night, despite having goal keeper Iker Casillias sent off after 2 minutes for a foul outside of the box.
