Barcelona’s World Cup winning midfielder Andres Iniesta has hailed 19 year-old England starlet, Jack Wilshere as one of Arsenals key men, predicting that the player could grow into Arsenals cheif.
Iniesta was speaking before his sides Champions League Last 16 clash against Arsenal at the Nou Camp, in a game he described as their first cup final of the season.
Arsenal lead 2-1 from the first leg and the two most pleasing on the eye teams in world football meet again tonight.
Iniesta is aware that there is lots of pressure on his team to succeed.
“For us there are no doubts,” he said.
“This is the first final of this season and we cannot fail at home and with the support of our fans.”
Cesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie should both return from injury to play against the World Club Champions, but Iniesta singled out Englishman, Jack Wilshere as another threat.
“We have analysed Arsenal and Cesc is not exclusively the key man,” said Iniesta.
“Wilshere is also very important for Arsenal. He is still young, but could go far and be the chief in the team.”
