Bolton defender Stuart Holden has revealed that he does not hold any grudge against Johnny Evans despite being ruled out for the season.
The American international was stretchered off in Boltons game against United on Saturday following a tackle by Evans which saw the defender sent off.
After being taken to hospital and treated, it has now being confirmed by Bolton that Holden is set to miss the remainder of the season, requiring surgery on his injured knee.
However, the midfielder is ubpeat about his comeback and does not believe the tackle was an intent to hurt him by any means.
Holden revealed the following on his Twitter account; “Just had a sincere phone call from Jonny Evans wishing me the best in my recovery, def wasn’t intentional, just unfortunate part of the game,”
