Gloucestershire Gladiators made 154/8 from their 40 overs at the Swalec Stadium in the CB40 despite the constant fall of wickets throughout their innings.
The tone was set early on as Rees ran Cockbain out before he got off the mark after two overs, and the flow of wickets continued throughout as Dean Cosker took four wickets for 30 runs from his eight overs bowled. James Harris chipped in with two for 26 after eight overs, as Will Gidman top scored for the Gladiators with 40 as he stayed until the end of the innings.
Gidman’s brother, and Gloucestershire captain Alex, hit 28, while Taylor hung in for a while as he made 26. Other than that Batty and Dawson made 15 and 12 respectively as all other batsman failed to get out of double figures.
Glamorgan Dragons therefore have a target of 155 to win from their 40 overs at the Swalec Stadium in Cardiff where the clouds have filled the sky for most of the afternoon and the wind has added a chill to the otherwise mild conditions.
