The quarter finals of the FA Cup takes place this weekend with the pick of ties coming from Old Trafford as Manchseter United welcome Arsenal to town.

Manchester United have had a week to regroup following their unconvincing display against Liverpool this week, while Arsene Wenger’s side will be looking for a major pick up following their Champions League exit during the week.

Both teams will be without star men as Cesc Fabregas and Nani are ruled out for b0th sides, however, United are boosted by the return of Antonio Valencia to their side.

Bolton travel to St Andrews to take on Birmingham in the other Saturday encounter.

Birmingham have already enjoed cup success this year after winning the Carling Cup, but Bolton will look at the Blue’s success as inspiration for their own cup glory.

Sunday’s FA Cup action sees Manchester City welcome surprise package Reading to the City of Manchester Stadium.

City were defeated in Europa League action during the week and Roberto Mancini’s men will know that nothing other than a win will be accepted on Sunday.

Mancini’s men will need to be wary of Reading, having already knocked out Premiership opposition in Everton and West Brom.

The final encounter of the weekend sees Stoke entertain West Ham at the Brittania stadium.

West Ham have defeated Stoke twice already this season and will be full of confidence going into this tie after being rejuvinated by Avram Grant in the later half of the season.

It should be a good weekend of cup football.
