Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge tonight with anything but a victory all but ending their slim title chances.
United are currently 15 points ahead of Chelsea with a game in hand, and Alex Ferguson has stated that it is now a two horse race between his side and Arsenal for the Premiership crown.
Chelsea however are unbeaten in their last eight games at home to United, winning five of them.
Record signing Fernando Torres is still looking for his first goal for the club, and United will be weary of him tonight as the Spaniard has scored in his last four games against Ferguson’s side.
Rio Ferdinand is the main loss for United, and he is joined on the missing list by; Antonia Valencia, Ji Sung Park, Anderson, Evans and Hargreaves.
Ryan Giggs is expected to be fit for the game, and could go straight into the starting line up for United.
Carlo Ancelotti today confirmed that Ashley Cole will start for Chelsea amid revelations that he accidentally shot a student with an air rifle at Chelsea’s training ground.
The main selection headache for Ancelotti will be whether to re-introduce Drogba to the side, or stick with Fernando Torres and Nicolas Anelka up front.
Wayne Rooney is expected to start for United, possibly on the left, after he escaped any punishment by the FA over his elbow on Wigan midfielder James McCarthy.
Kick off at Stamford Bridge is at 19:45.
