Chelsea and Real Madrid are in the hat for Friday’s quarter final draw after coming through their second leg encounters successfully.
A 0-0 draw was good enough for Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea at home to FC Copenhagen to see them progress.
Chelsea lead 2-0 from the first leg and never really had to get out of first gear to see this one through and even started with Fernando Torres on the bench.
However, they were unable to score even after bringing the record signing on in the second half, nonetheless the Premiership champions did enough to get through to the next round.
Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid were emphatic 3-0 winners at home to FC Lyon in their encounter.
The Spanish giants had the advantage before the game as they were ahead courtesy of the away goal rule following their 1-1 draw in France a couple of weeks ago.
