Glamorgan have lost the toss to Gloucestershire at the Swalec Stadium, and Glos captain Alex Gidman has chosen to bat under cloudy conditions this afternoon in Cardiff.
Glamorgan currently lie in fourth place, one place behind Gloucestershire, however the Welsh county have won just one of their four matches so far this season, losing two and gaining and No Result in the other. In comparison the Gladiators have won two and lost one of their three matches to date.
A win for the Dragon’s is imperative if they are to stay in touch with the top of the group, currently led by Somerset, followed closely by Essex. The Gladiators on the other hand can begin to put distance between themselves and the following pack with a win today.
Updates between Glamorgan and Gloucestershire in the CB40, live from the Swalec Stadium, to follow.
