Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has revealed he has no worries about his job, despite his teams slump in the last month.
Famous last words maybe, but Kean knows that the teams performances at the beginning of his reign were enough to get him the job on a permanent basis, and he feels it won’t be long before his teams luck changes.
Blackburn need to start winning quickly, as this year sees one of the closest relegation battles of all time, and after four games without a victory, Rovers now sit only 4 points above third from bottom, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“The stability they’ve given me is fantastic,” explained Kean. “Do I feel safe? Yes, I do.
“It’s also good for the players.
“We’ve so many who are out of contract in the summer, so the fact they want to back me through my contract allows me to sit down with the lads, like I did in the transfer window.
“They might not want to sign a new contract if someone else is coming in.”
