Jose Mourinho’s incredible home record continued on Saturday night as Real Madrid saw off lowly Hercules 2-0 at the Bernebeu.
Mourinho’s ‘special’ home record now extends 150 games and he hasn’t lost a home league game since his Porto side lost 3-2 to Beira Mar in February 2002.
Two Benzema goals extended the nine year run which has seen Mourinho manage Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and now Real Madrid through 150 home games.
Barcelona still have to come to town this season and if the ‘special one’ wants to keep his run going he’ll have to construct a tactical masterplan to stop the Spanish league leaders.
Barcelona thumped his side 5-0 earlier in the season, although Arsenals 2-1 home win against the Catalans will give Mourniho and his team hope.
