Reports have emerged suggesting that the Apple iPad 2 will launch on March 2nd, despite conflicting reports suggesting a delay in release.

The launch will be a year on from the first iPad was released and reports say that Apple will hold a launch ceremony on March 2nd to show off the device and it’s new features.

Apples shares dropped 3 percent yesterday after a company in Taiwan claimed that one of the parts companies was running behind schedule, which would cause a delay, but city analysts claimed there was nothing to worry about, and that Apples track record showed consistency in release schedules.

The original iPad has sold over 15million times so far, and the world is expected to buy 50million tablets in the next year, with Apple hoping to sell the lion’s share of them.
