FTSE 100 Sits Idle as Weak Telecoms Offset Strong Miners



Stocks were holding steady through the morning

Stocks were holding steady through the morning

Weak telecoms like Cable and Wireless Worldwide are offsetting strong Miners through the morning session.

Also banks are trading higher this morning, while many await Goldman Sachs earnings report.

The FTSE 100 held steady through to lunch.  Down 25 it finished the morning at approximately 5120.

Lloyd’s GRP led the volume leaders.  They were followed by BT Group, Cable & WW, Vodafone and RBS, respectively.
