Friday’s FTSE 100 closed under 5,000.

Friday’s market close left the FTSE 100 still under 5,000 at with a 32.34 points increase to 4,838.09.

Top volume leaders were Lloyds Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Vodafone Group, Barclays, and BP.

BP ended Friday with a loss of 1.81 points sitting at 322.00.

The biggest loser was Smith & Nephew with 5.52 points fall and Tullow Oil showed the largest gain of 5.50 points to close at 1,046.00.
