Meryl Streep pops into British Parliament to prepare for her Thatcher role

Last Wednesday, Hollywood actress Meryl Streep visited Britain’s Houses of Parliament to observe the weekly Prime Minister’s questions session as she is preparing for a movie role as the first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

The 61 year old actress is taking on the role of Margaret Thatcher in the Hollywood Movie, The Iron Lady which is a film recalling the days until the Falkland War in 1982.

The Oscar-winning actress watched the argument between Prime Minister David Cameron and Ed Miliband in the public gallery to see what happens at debates and get a taste of British politics but left before having the change to greet Cameron.

Lawmakers wrote on Twitter acknowledging that they had spotted her at the Houses of Parliament.
