3 Films for February

3 Films we think you should see this February – includes Trailers

No Strings Attached – release date – 25th February

The soppy love film ‘No Strings Attached’ in due in cinemas towards the back end of the month, much to the excitement of rom-com fans up and down the country. Whilst it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, watching Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman flirting for the whole movie was quite enjoyable for us. The plot is fairly straight forward; a girl and a boy try to keep a no strings relationship purely, but before long they both end up wanting that little bit more. Which leads to them trying to make the relationship work. An enjoyable watch.

Paul – release date – 14th February
Bizarly released on Valentines day, this very unromantic movie sees two British stars working together again as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (‘Shaun of The Dead’, ‘Hot Fuzz’) go on a road trip through Area 51 as part of a slightly geeky expedition. The duo amusingly comes across a movie creating, CIA assisting alien, who is brilliantly voiced by Seth Rogan. The threesome then become the subject of an FBI investigation, with the ensuing pursuit one which will have you laughing all the way home. Not a romantic comedy but well worth a watch if you want cheering up on Valentines Day.

Sanctum – release date – 4th February
If James Camerons Avatar in 3D had you on the edge of your seat, then look no further than his latest instalment, Sanctum. Possibly the perfect Valentines film if you want your loved one to hold on to you the whole way through, the film sees a team of explorers get trapped in a complicated maze of underground caves. Unable to escape the way they came in, the ensuing drama will keep you gripped until the finish. Our tip for film of the month.
