Hollywood star Adam Sandler yesterday became the 2431st star inducted onto Hollywoods Walk of Fame, following a career littered with success.
The star, who is also a stand up comedian and singer songwriter, was accompanied to the event by his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, who continued to interrupt the event by telling their father, “I love you daddy.”
Sandler responded in kind telling them, “I love you too, you guys are my buddies, I love you more than anything in the world.”
The Wedding Singer star, who has also had hit roles in 50 First Dates and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, was killed off by Internet hoaxers at Christmas, and had to release a statement to deny he had died.
Speaking alongside wife, Jackie, Sandler joked about the fact he already has his hands and feet imprinted outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, saying, “I guess it’s two different companies that are making money. But the thing is, it’s nice,”
“And then my kids, when I’m an old man or even when I’m dead one day, they’ll get to walk by daddy’s star.”
