Radiohead continue unpredictability by releasing album one day early

Radiohead fans have enjoyed a small bonus as Radiohead released their album a day early today, making a surprise announcement that their eight album was out, despite not being due until tomorrow.

The new album, ‘Kings of Limbs’ has been made available to fans who had ordered the new album through their website, and the album quickly found it’s eight tracks the subject of mass twitter excitement.

Radiohead have continued their tradition of avoiding major labels, and have released the album through their website.

They were signed with EMIs Parlophone label, but after 6 albums became fed up with the corporate attitudes and released their 7th album, In Rainbows themselves.

The album will be available on vinyl and CD in the next few weeks, as well as on their website.

Radiohead released a statement saying, “With everything ready on their website, the band decided to bring forward the release by a day as there was no need to wait until the planned date of Saturday Feb 19 to deliver the music.”
