Liam Gallagher has ended rumours that Oasis may one day get back together.
The British band, who have released 7 albums together breaking up in 2009. The band won a BRIT award in 2010 for best British Album of the last 30 years and Liam collected the award on his own, thanking everyone but brother Noel.
The Manchester City supporting brothers have fallen out in the past but this time it looks to be for good.
Liam said of the rumours they may play together one day, “This is not a stopgap until me and Noel come to our senses and start Oasis again. That is well and truly done.”
Liam has formed a new band called Beady Eye, who are formed of the entire Oasis line up, apart from Noel and told the press he would not be playing any Oasis covers.
He said that the band would ignore any requests from the crowd and drown them out.
“I’ve got a microphone, we’ve got guitars, we’ll drown them out,” he said
It looks like we have seen the end of Oasis, although as we know in music anything is possible. Just look at Take That.
