Elizabeth Hurley has revealed that her Parrot is tormenting her dogs by waking them up when they try to sleep.
Hurley, who has recently started dating Aussie cricket superstar, Shane Warne, has a Blue Fronted Amazonian parrot, one which can mimic sounds and speech.
The parrot has learnt to mimic Liz Hurley’s whistle, and waits until the dogs are trying to sleep before letting it all out, waking them up.
Taking to social networking site Twitter, she tweeted, “Naughty Ping Pong is driving the dogs demented by doing our special ‘Doggies come here’ whistle every time they lie down for a snooze…”
Liz also admitted that the parrot has learnt to copy her laugh, adding, “She also imitates my horrible laugh.”
The bird can also say, “hello darling”, “hello little girl” “shut up” and “hello mama”.
Liz, who loves her dogs, said, “The first thing I do when I wake up is kiss my dogs. All of whom sleep on top of me. Living in the country means I try to walk or run with the dogs every day.”
