The Dancing On Ice star suffered the terrible injury yesterday afternoon, just hours before the live show, when her skate tore a lump out of her thigh.
The Hollyoaks actress was practising a backwards crossover move during rehearsals when her skate slashed deep into her thigh.
Blood starting to pour on to the ice, and ITV1 physiotherapists urged her to go to A&E immediately.
Jennifer, 27, was rushed from Shepperton Studios to St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey.
Medics stitched the gaping wound up, whilst her hunky professional skating partner, Sylvain Longchambon, held her hand. Jennifer and Sylvain are partners both on and off the rink.
A Dancing On Ice insider commented: “It all happened so quickly that Jen didn’t really know what was going on. She caught her skate on her leg and when she looked down there was blood everywhere. She was in a lot of pain but it helped her a lot having Sylvain there for support.”
Brave Jen was not going to let the injury beat her after narrowly escaping the axe last weekend, and she was back in the studio in hours.
Jen was saved by the public this weekend, as Coronation Street star Steven Arnold got the boot after being in the bottom two with Dominic Cork.
