After making her name in the world’s biggest comedy, Friends, it is only natural to assume that Jennifer Aniston would continue as a comedy actress, but after a succession of successful romantic comedies the star is now looking for something a little more serious.
Aniston has already lined a project up, which she says is a film based on an all-female country-western band formed in a Texas prison in the 1940s.
Jen, also well known as Rachel, her character in Friends, said that the band were “sort of the Dixie Chicks of their time”.
Jen is currently in Mexico launching her new perfume, having just finished promoting her romantic comedy with Adam Sandler, Just Go With It, in which Sandler made numerous jokes at Aniston’s ex, Brad Pitt and his new wife Angelina Jolie.
Jen also has another project on the go, which has been codenamed Counterclockwise, and is said to be focused around the studies of Ellen Langer, a renowned Harvard psychology professor.
