Jeff Bridges revealed his disappointment at losing out to Colin Firth in the Best Actor category, revealing he had no idea where his award from last year has gone.
Jeff, who won Best Actor 2010 for his performance in Crazy Heart, revealed about the whereabouts of his golden prize, “I think I’ve lost it.”
“It’s been in few places since last year but I haven’t seen it for a while now. I’m hoping it will turn up especially now I haven’t won a spare! But Colin deserves it. I just hope he looks after it better.”
Jeff also spoke about his growing passion with wife, Susan Geston, who he married in 1977. Jeff revealed he thought things would cool down in time, but that he was wrong and the passion has actually increased.
“What I didn’t count on with this whole marriage thing was that the passion, the sparks — it gets better!” he said. “I was thinking it was going to go the other way, but it gets cooler and hotter all at the same time.
“I think one of the things about staying married is just not getting a divorce. To go through some of those difficult times and stay together, you’ve got to expand your concept of love.
“If you’ve been married a long time, you’re going to get tested.”
