Oscar winning actress Elizabeth Taylors condition is improving following an illness that put her in hospital.
Initial reports suggested she had suffered some form of heart attack or stroke, but her representative denied that was the case on Thursday.
The 78 year old actress will stay at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles for the time being, after being admitted two weeks ago with symptoms of heart failure.
In a statement released on Wednesday her representative said, “Elizabeth Taylor’s doctors continue to be encouraged by her progress.”
“She is in good spirits and continues to feel stronger every day.”
