Young actress Dakota Fanning is set to play the role of Princess Margaret in a new film which is being created to depict her teenage years with her sister, the Queen.
The movie is to be called Girls Night Out and filming for the royal picture is set to start later this year.
In 1945, Margaret and Elizabeth were allowed out of Buckingham Palace for the night to join in victory celebrations to mark the end of the Second World War in Europe, and the movie is inspired by this event.
Whilst Fanning has been cast to play Margaret, the actress to play the Queen is still undecided.
Fanning is now 16, and is best known for playing Jane in the Twilight saga, as well as her role in War of The Worlds.
Margaret died nine years ago, aged 71.
