BBC presenter Julie Bradbury has revealed she is expecting her first child at the age of 40.
The Countryfile presenter and her other half, Gerard Cunningham, a 52 year-old property developer, have decided to wait until the baby is born before finding out the sex.
Julia suffers from endometriosis which is a condition that can cause fertility problems, leaving her fearing that she may never mother children.
That all changed however with the news she was pregnant, and Julia said, “We didn’t think it would be possible and the pregnancy has been a wonderful surprise for both of us,”
“I have endometriosis and honestly wasn’t sure if I would ever realise my ambition to be a mum so to fall pregnant feels like a bit of a miracle.
“We are both delighted and our families are very happy.”
Julia’s baby is due in August.
