91-year-old US actress, singer and dancer Betty Garrett has died in Los Angeles, according to reports.
Her son, Garrett Parks announced that she had passed away at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre.
She is thought to have died from an aortic aneurysm.
Berry Garrett is most famous for playing Frank Sinatra’s sweetheart in two of his musicals in the 1940s.
She didn’t last long doing movies however, as after marrying Larry Parks, she was blacklisted from Hollywood because of his past ties with communism.
Garrett didn’t go away however, and became well known in the 1970s for her roles in various sitcoms.
Garrett stayed married to Parks until his death in 1975, and has had sporadic roles in Broadway.
