Lets go back to 50/50 World Cup held in 1999 in England. During early stages
Bangla Desh were allowed to beat Pakistan so that they too could become a
Test Cricket playing nation as a result. Several of the Pakistan players had openly let it be known of this result in advance. Many many people made a fortune except the bookies. It was arranged at the govermental level.

Also Pakistan specialise in losing matches from winning positions! Last test
vs Australia in Australia and the semi final in 20/20 early this year vs Australia.
No other country does this feat so regularly as Pakistan, check it out! I could name a few more. I dont like Cricket, oh no.

The boom in the PPI industry has seen hundreds of companies being setup to help consumers reclaim ppi which could have been mis sold to them. These companies are pushing the boundaries in terms of what can and cannot be done legally to generate enquiries, whether this be through text messaging, phone calls and even door to door canvassing. The Ministry of justice is receiving an alarming amount of complaints from consumers from such companies and is looking to take action against anyone found in breach of their claims marketing policy. Most people are not aware, but you with a little research and hard work you can actually reclaim PPI yourself without the need of an external company.

Winter fuel and cold weather payments should paid only if the recipient pays the bill or is actually in the country.this benefit which should be protecting our most vulnerable at the coldest time is abused, this is the fault of government not the people on benefit. many people living in care homes, sheltered and or supported housing, in hospital, therapeutic community or rehab DO NOT always pay heating costs(these are met by the provider of that service) but the person/claimant receives the allowance by default. I know of people living in shared supported accommodation-who do not pay heating costs and receive the cold weather payments and 1 man who in the past had lived in his own accommodation, then moved to shared accommodation and the winter fuel allowance followed him...DWP stated it would cost to much not to pay it automatically. another couple who go to warmer climes for the winter period (up to 6 months) still receive all cold weather payments ..why? In 1 month with the people I know over £5,000 was paid out, multiply that figure around the country and its a tidy sum. The person who pays the bill, whose name is on the bill, if on the correct benefit should be able to receive this discount straight at source ie from the gas/ electricity /oil suppliers.

Why hasn't the Pensions Regulator acted sooner? This has been dragging on for three years or so. What is the worst case scenario if all else fails?

It's good to see a reaction to small business plights from the banks, but it's a small stepping stone. I'll be intrigued to see how things progress from here. Interesting to see the banks and FSB's conflicting opinions too. Establishing the realy cause of the lack of lending will be key to fixing the issue.

When I retired I had various final salary pension scheme options. I chose to take a reduced pension and a smaller lump sum to link my pension with the RPI. I calculated that I would break even in about 12 years time. Under the new regulations this will now be in 24 years time, when I am 90 years old. Surely this move cannot be legal.
